Somerset House

Somerset House is situated on the south side of the Strand in central London, overlooking the River Thames, just 30-40 minutes tube journey from the Signature Townhouse Hyde Park hotel. Somerset House is the venue for many shows and events. You can find the London Fashion show here, as well as smaller scale, niche events, like gardening, arts and crafts and hobbies. It is always worth checking their website to see the latest events happening when you are in the area. Did you know that it is also a popular filming location? The building featured in two James Bond films, GoldenEye (1995) and Tomorrow Never Dies (1997). It is definitely worth a visit, if not just to check out the outstanding grounds.
