London Transport Museum

The London Transport Museum is based in Covent Garden, around 25-35 minutes’ tube journey from the Signature Townhouse Hyde Park hotel. This is a great place to visit if you want to find out more about the transport heritage of London, and are interested in old-fashioned cars, buses and trains. But that’s not all the place has to offer. Many exhibitions, displays and tours happen here on a daily basis, with adult tickets starting at £18. This includes “Hidden London” which is a programme of events held at disused stations and secret sites across the city, led by experienced guides who share little-known stories about the stations. There’s even under 5 sessions if you have small children, where you can enjoy special singing and story sessions at the Museum. There is also a shop and café here to grab a bite to eat.
